You Can Withdraw Consent At Any Time

In college a man I was in a relationship with unilaterally decided that he was not going to use a condom one time. I stopped him from entering me by pushing him away with my hands. When I asked him to put on a condom he refused. When I asked him if he cared whether or not I got pregnant he just stared at me. He never said a word. I got out of bed, got dressed and left, stunned and grateful that he did not rape me. Who would’ve believed it was rape? Everyone knew that we had been having sex previously. The anger I felt at his disregard for me has never faded though it has been 45 years since this happened.
