In my early years of sexuality I tried to disprove my mother's theory that females must have an emotional attachment in order to enjoy sex -- by being quite indiscreet about who I slept with. Upon reflection, I wish I had been more selective when choosing partners as I ended up on a path geared to shallow relationships with men -- rather than ever getting to where I easily felt comfortable with men in social situations if I wasn't having sex with them.
