I started sexting strangers online when I was 11.
The first place was a chatroom in a game I played where everybody seemed to only talk about sex.
I didn't understand what I was doing or why it was wrong. It was exciting and new and I didn't understand why I liked it.
Sometimes I lied about my age.
Sometimes I sent pictures.
I'm still ashamed of it. I pray no one kept any photos, no one figured out who I was. I try to remind myself it wasn't my fault, I didn't know any better, but it still feels like it was.
